Chapter x:
Andy was nursing his beer because he had to meet people for dinner later and he had not had a lot to drink lately because of his prescription pain killers. Three months ago, he would have been drunk by now. He watched the waitress serve other patrons. She was so incredibly hot, and so incredibly stupid. One conversation and he was completely turned off. She had no idea what CPAC was, didn't have any idea what a conservative was, and had never voted, ever. It wasn't a problem that she didn't know it was her complete lack of interest in knowing. Andy had trouble contemplating what these people thought about. What went on in their minds, he wondered? He wanted her but frankly it was way too much work just to decide what to talk to her about. Every moment he talked to her made his soul smaller and blacker.
